Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Putnam Locals (putnamlocals.com), the owner dashboard, and our related services, which are run by Ancient City Associates LLC in Palatka, Florida ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

The directory

Putnam Locals lists local businesses using public information and details provided by business owners. We work to keep it accurate, but listings can be incomplete or out of date, and we don't guarantee any of it. A listing, a Featured placement, a sponsorship, or a Verified badge (which means the owner confirmed the listing is theirs) is not an endorsement or recommendation. We don't check licenses, insurance, or the quality of anyone's work.

You decide who to hire. Before you do, we suggest getting written estimates, asking for proof of insurance, and checking the business's Florida license.

Free quote requests

When you request quotes, we pass your request to up to 3 local businesses in the trade you choose, or only to the business whose page you used. Those businesses are independent of us. Any price, schedule, or agreement is between you and the business, and we aren't responsible for their work, prices, or replies.

The website chat

The chat is answered by an automated AI assistant. It can make mistakes, and its answers aren't professional, legal, or financial advice. Please double-check anything important, and don't type sensitive information such as card numbers into the chat.

For business owners

• Only claim or edit a listing if you own the business or are authorized to act for it.
• You're responsible for keeping the information you provide accurate, and for having the rights to any text, photos, logos, or videos you add.
• You allow us to display, format, and share the content you provide on Putnam Locals and in our newsletter and promotions of the directory.
• We may edit, decline, or remove listings or content that is inaccurate, misleading, or against these terms, and we may change what free listings include.

Paid plans

Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on the List your business page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly plans renew each month and can be canceled anytime from the owner dashboard; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. Annual plans renew each year unless canceled before the renewal date. Payments already made aren't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. We'll give notice before changing the price of a plan you're on.

Using the site fairly

Please don't:

• send false, spam, or abusive quote requests, claims, or chat messages;
• copy or scrape the directory in bulk, or use it to build a competing list;
• try to disrupt, overload, or break into the site or the owner dashboard;
• pretend to be someone else, or claim a business you aren't authorized to act for.

We may block access for anyone who does.

Other websites

Listings link to businesses' own websites and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with a business you found through Putnam Locals. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Putnam County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
